Minister of Finance Demands Tax Employees Enhancing Integrity

Jakarta, 15/04/2013 MoF (Fiscal) News – Minister of Finance Agus D.W. Martowardojo demands all tax employees in the Ministry of Finance to have high integrity and professionalism. This statement responds to a tax employee that was caught in the act by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for receiving bribe. “Currently, there are 32,000 tax employees, but there is still an employee who performed dishonorable act. The message is that they should increase their integrity and professionalism. Never commit such thing again,” Minister said (12/4). Minister further stated that this act of receiving bribe from taxpayers is not only a dishonorable act but also a mistake that will lead to legal action.
