Kopi komersial Indonesia terdiri dari kopi jenis robusta, arabika, liberika, dan ekselsa. Untuk menciptakan minuman kopi yang nikmat, salah satu tahap yang harus dilakukan dengan teliti dan benar adalah proses menyeduh kopi. Seduh manual (<em>manual brewing<\/em>) menggunakan peralatan manual merupakan salah satu metode yang menarik bagi penikmat kopi sejati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam menyiapkan minuman kopi dengan alat seduh manual beberapa hal yang diperhatikan adalah: suhu air penyeduhan adalah 92 derajat celcius plus minus 2, grinder size adalah medium, alat harus diflashing sebelum memulai penyeduhan, mengetahui katakteristik rasa dari setiap proses pasca panen kopi, mengetahui karakteristik alat karena memberikan pengaruh rasa pada kopi yang diseduh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>V60<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Pada alat seduh V60 diberikan <em>paper filter<\/em> yang sebelumnya sudah di<em>flashing<\/em>. Timbang bubuk kopi untuk memastikan rasio kopi dan air adalah 1:12. Lakukan <em>blooming<\/em> dengan menuang air panas, dengan jumlah air adalah 1-1,5 berat kopi. Blooming bertujuan untuk mengeluarkan udara didalam biji kopi, agar ekstraksi kopi selama penyeduhan berjalan maksimal. Kemudian lanjutkan penyeduhan sampai volume air sesuai rasio penyeduhan. Kemudian lanjutkan penyeduhan sampai berat air sesuai rasio penyeduhan. Aduk bubuk kopi dan air, tutup <em>pot body<\/em> dengan <em>plunger<\/em>, kemudian diamkan selama 4 menit. Masukkan air pada <em>lower bowl<\/em>, sesuai berat air pada rasio. Pasang <em>upper chamber<\/em> yang telah dipasang filter. Panaskan <em>lower bowl<\/em> dengan <em>burner<\/em>, tunggu sampai air mendidih dan naik pada permukaan <em>upper chamber<\/em>. Masukkan bubuk kopi pada <em>upper chamber<\/em>, aduk selama 1 menit. Masukkan bubuk kopi pada <em>bottom filter<\/em>, tutup dengan <em>press filter<\/em>. Pasang <em>plunger<\/em> pada <em>chamber<\/em>, untuk metode <em>inverted<\/em> tempatkan <em>plunger <\/em>berada dibawah sehingga <em>chamber<\/em> menghadap ke atas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Timbang kopi untuk memastikan rasio kopi adalah 1:12. Masukkan bubuk kopi pada <em>chamber<\/em>, kemudian seduh dengan berat air sesuai rasio penyeduhan. Aduk seduhan kopi dan air dengan <em>stirrer<\/em>, kemudian pasang <em>filter cap<\/em>, diamkan hingga 1 menit.
