Staff yang bertugas melayani makanan dan minuman dikenal dengan sebutan pramusaji.<br>Pramusaji adalah karyawan restoran atau room service yang mempunyai tugas dan tanggung jawab memberikan pelayanan akan kebutuhan makan dan minum bagi tamu. Etika pelayanan seorang pramusaji dalam melayani tamu di di restoran dibagi atas 3 persiapan, yaitu: Persiapan Fisik, Persiapan mental dan persiapan alat bantu. Persyaratan seorang pramusaji dalam melayani tamu yang makan dan minum direstoran juga harus dipenuhi agar mampu memberikan pelayanan yang memuaskan bagi tamu.<br>Persyaratan seorang pramusaji dalam melayani tamu yang makan dan minum direstoran serta mampu memberikan pelayanan yang memuaskan bagi tamu dan dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan penampilan diri, sikap dan tingkah laku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PROSEDUR PELAYANAN DI RESTORAN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Menyambut tamu<\/strong><br>mengucapkan \u201c<em>Good evening, may I help you?<\/em>, setelah itu baru menanyakan apakah sudah memesan tempat atau belum?, setelah itu arahkan tamu ke tempat yang sudah ditentukan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Memberi tempat duduk<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pemilihan tempat duduk, hendaknya dilakukan sesuai dengan kesenangan tamu, khususnya untuk tamu yang sudah seringkali datang di restoran,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Memberi pelayanan tempat duduk dengan urutan seperti:wanita, anak berusia 2 s.d. 8 tahun, tamu penting, yang paling tua<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mempersilahkan tamu duduk, dengan cara mendorong kursi perlahan kearah dalam, saat tamu akan duduk .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Menyodorkan menu kepada tamu<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mencatat pesanan tamu<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Menuangkan air es<\/strong><br>Tidak semua restoran otomatis menghidangkan air kepada tamu yang datang di restoran, untuk menambah hasil penjualan, pramusaji akan menawarkan minuman kepada tamu sebelum mereka makan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Menghidangkan roti dan mentega<\/strong><br>beberapa keuntungan jika tamu diberikan roti yaitu agar tamu tidak merasa menunggu makanan apabila makanan yang dipesannya memerlukan waktu pembuatan yang agak lama<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Menghidangkan makanan<\/strong><br>Seperti telah dijelaskan bahwa tipe pelayanan ada bermacammacam tergantung dari jenis restorannya, seperti misalnya:&nbsp;<em>plate service\/American service, gueridon service, platter service dan sebagainya<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sajikan salad dari sebelah kiri, clear up sebelah kanan<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sajikan soup, setelah selesai di clear up<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sajikan main course, setelah selesai di clear up<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mengangkat peralatan kotor<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>B&amp;B plate diambil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Membersihkan meja (Crumbing down)<\/strong><br><em>Crumb<\/em>&nbsp;adalah serpihan roti dan crumbing berarti membersihkan meja dari serpihan roti dan kotoran lainnya, crumbing ini dilaksanakan setelah tamu selesai menikmati makanan utama,<br>dengan maksud memberikan keadaan yang tetap bersih dan menyenangkan ketika tamu menikmati dessert\/makanan penutup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Memberikan makan penutup<\/strong><br>Pada beberapa restoran tersedia kereta dorong yang berisi kuekue atau jenis makanan penutup lainnya.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Menawarkan kopi\/teh<\/strong><br>Kopi atau teh dihidangkan setelah tamu selesai menyantap makanan penutupnya.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Menangani pembayaran tamu<\/strong><br>Apabila tamu setelah makan dan minum, maka pramusaji harus segera menghubungi kasir untuk mempersiapkan bon tagihan kepada tamu. Hal ini dilakukan agar tamu tidak menunggu terlalu lama, apabila hendak membayar. bon tagihan tersebut akan disodorkan apabila tamu memintanya. bon atau sering disebut bill ditaruh diatas baki kecil untuk \u201dc<em>ash tray<\/em>\u201d. Ada dua kemungkinan dalam menangani pembayaran ini, pertama tamu akan membayar kontan atau menggunakan kartu kredit, yang kedua khusus untuk tamu yang tinggal di hotel, diperbolehkan menandatangani bill tersebut untuk kemudian ditagihkan pada saat tamu akan chek out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mengantarkan tamu<\/strong><br>Adalah suatu tindakan terpuji apabila ada seseorang mengantarkan tamu sampai ke pintu keluar. Pramusaji harus selalu mengucapkan terima kasih atas kedatangan tamu tersebut ke restoran dan mengharapkan\/mengundang para tamu untuk berkunjung kembali<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Menata meja<\/strong><br>Setelah tamu meninggalkan meja, pramusaji segera membersihkan dan menata kembali meja tersebut, agar tamu lain yang datang dapat segera menempatinya.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div
