{"id":1716,"date":"2014-06-24T02:03:32","date_gmt":"2014-06-24T02:03:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eko.tj.nscpolteksby.ac.id\/?p=1716"},"modified":"2014-06-24T02:22:42","modified_gmt":"2014-06-24T02:22:42","slug":"asean-economic-community-blueprint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nscpolteksby.ac.id\/dosen\/eko-tjiptojuwono\/2014\/06\/24\/asean-economic-community-blueprint\/","title":{"rendered":"ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The importance of external trade to\u00a0ASEAN and the need for the ASEAN Community as a whole to remain outward looking, the AEC<br \/>\nenvisages the following key characteristics: (a) a single market and production base, (b) a highly\u00a0competitive economic region, (c) a region of equitable economic development, and (d) a region\u00a0fully integrated into the global economy. These characteristics are inter-related and mutually\u00a0reinforcing. Incorporating the required elements of each characteristic in one Blueprint shall ensure\u00a0the consistency and coherence of these elements as well as their implementation and proper\u00a0coordination among relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>At the 12th ASEAN Summit in January 2007, the Leaders affirmed their strong commitment\u00a0to accelerate the establishment of an ASEAN Community by 2015 as envisioned in the ASEAN\u00a0Vision 2020 and the ASEAN Concord II, and signed the Cebu Declaration on the Acceleration of\u00a0the Establishment of an ASEAN Community by 2015.
